Since the likelihood of seeing a Runaways movie anytime soon is minimal, and as a form of wish fulfillment, I'm writing a draft script for the Runaways Vol 1. movie. [Kevin Feige] says the next 3 years he’s working on Iron Man 3, The Runaways, Ant-Man and The Avengers.

So most likely we won't be seeing the Runaways movie for another 3 years, which makes me seriously wish they'd just pull the series back from hiatus already so that way there's not this huge gap of time in-between projects.

From Filmonic: Marvel’s first non-Avengers related movie, Runaways, was gearing up for filming early next year under the direction of Peter Sollett (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist), however according to Deadline, Marvel has put the movie on hold as they have “too much going on at the moment” and “will take its time” with the adaptation.
